POLICY 7: MINOR PROTECTION & CHILD SAFETY POLICY
7.1 Purpose
7.1.1 CRU is committed to ensuring a safe digital environment and preventing harm to minors.
7.1.2 This Policy outlines:
	•	(a) Age eligibility standards
	•	(b) Safeguards against child exploitation
	•	(c) Reporting mechanisms
	•	(d) Platform responsibilities
7.1.3 This Policy aligns with:
	•	(a) Information Technology Act, 2000
	•	(b) Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012
	•	(c) Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
7.2 Age Restriction
7.2.1 CRU is strictly limited to individuals 18 years and above.
7.2.2 By creating an account, users represent and warrant that:
	•	(a) They are at least 18 years old
	•	(b) They are legally competent to enter into binding agreements
7.2.3 Accounts found to belong to individuals under 18 may be:
	•	(a) Suspended
	•	(b) Permanently deleted
	•	(c) Reported where required by law
7.3 Zero Tolerance Policy
7.3.1 CRU has zero tolerance for:
	•	(a) Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
	•	(b) Grooming behavior
	•	(c) Sexual exploitation of minors
	•	(d) Trafficking-related content
	•	(e) Harmful or predatory communication
7.3.2 Such content will be:
	•	(a) Immediately removed
	•	(b) Reported to appropriate authorities
	•	(c) Logged for compliance purposes
7.4 Detection & Monitoring
7.4.1 CRU uses:
	•	(a) AI-assisted moderation tools
	•	(b) Human review
	•	(c) User reporting systems
7.4.2 To detect and prevent:
	•	(a) Child exploitation content
	•	(b) Grooming attempts
	•	(c) Predatory behavior
7.4.3 Moderation actions may be immediate and without prior notice.
7.5 Reporting Child Safety Concerns
7.5.1 Users may report suspected child safety violations via:

7.5.2 Reports involving potential child exploitation will be prioritized.
7.6 Cooperation with Authorities
7.6.1 Where legally required, CRU may:
	•	(a) Preserve relevant data
	•	(b) Provide information to law enforcement
	•	(c) Comply with court directives
7.6.2 Child exploitation matters may be escalated without user notification where required by law.
7.7 Political Content & Minor Safety
7.7.1 CRU does not:
	•	(a) Target political advertisements to minors
	•	(b) Promote political messaging to individuals under 18
	•	(c) Allow accounts for minors
7.7.2 Since the platform is restricted to adults, additional parental consent mechanisms are not implemented.
7.8 Preventive Safeguards
7.8.1 CRU maintains:
	•	(a) Account age eligibility checks
	•	(b) Monitoring of suspicious behavior
	•	(c) Escalation procedures for high-risk cases
7.8.2 Repeated violations result in permanent bans.
7.9 Limitation of Platform Liability
7.9.1 CRU operates as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
7.9.2 The Company shall not be liable for unlawful content uploaded by users, provided it acts upon obtaining actual knowledge.
7.10 Policy Updates
7.10.1 This Policy may be updated periodically to reflect:
	•	(a) Legal developments
	•	(b) Regulatory changes
	•	(c) Child protection standards
7.10.2 Continued use of CRU constitutes acceptance of updates.
